Four of the first scrolls were obtained by ASOR . These scrolls were translated by ASOR.
The First Scrolls
- A complete manuscript of the book of Isaiah that differs remarkably from the medieval copies of Isaiah 1QIsaa .
- A copy of The Community Rule , which describes the basic theological underpinnings and organization of the Qumran sect.
- The Pesher Habakkuk , which is a commentary on the biblical book of Habakkuk .
- The Genesis Apocryphon that was an extensive retelling of portions of the book of Genesis .
