ASOR Scrolls

Four of the first scrolls were obtained by ASOR . These scrolls were translated by ASOR.

The First Scrolls

• A complete manuscript of the book of Isaiah that differs remarkably from the medieval copies of Isaiah 1QIsa^a .
• A copy of The Community Rule , which describes the basic theological underpinnings and organization of the Qumran sect.
• The Pesher Habakkuk , which is a commentary on the biblical book of Habakkuk .
• The Genesis Apocryphon that was an extensive retelling of portions of the book of Genesis .
